Gun Violence is a PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE

If you are fed up with senseless gun violence in our country, Join Us for a rally in Washington D.C at State Capitol on September 27, 2024 11AM – 2PM

Our Mission

  • Gun Violence isn’t a political issue. It’s a public safety issue.
  • Americans overwhelmingly support common sense gun legislation. *
  • But our government has failed to follow the will of the people.

We believe that public safety demands federal action to:

  • Limit ownership and use of assault weapons*
  • Strengthen background checks and waiting periods to own a gun
  • Require firearm safety training before purchase
  • Increase gun ownership age to 21

*semiautomatic assault weapon (SAW) or large capacity ammunition feeding device (LCAFD)

*does not apply to a firearm that is (1) manually; or (5) a rifle or shotgun specifically identified by make and mode operated by bolt, pump, lever, or slide action, except for certain shotguns; (2) permanently inoperable; (3) an antique; (4) only capable of firing rimfire ammunition

Our Vision

A safer and more secure nation where the threat of mass shootings and daily gun violence is significantly reduced, while the rights of responsible gun owners are respected.

Core Values

Safety: We prioritize the safety of all people living in the United States by addressing the significant risk posed by firearms in the hands of individuals with harmful intent.

Responsible Gun Ownership: We respect the rights of Americans to own firearms for self-defense, hunting and sport while promoting responsible gun ownership practices.

Evidence-Based Policy: We recommend the development and implementation of policies based on thorough research, data analysis, and expert input to ensure effective and targeted solutions.

Collaboration: We recommend that law makers work collaboratively with stakeholders, including gun owners, law enforcement agencies, gun manufacturers, mental health professionals, and advocacy groups, to create a balanced and well-informed approach.
